About Our Team 
Enmetena Advisory specializes in the intersection of geopolitics and credit markets. Our firm is named for
Enmetena, king of Lagash. In ca. 2500 BCE, Enmetena won the first recorded interstate war, sparked by the
failure of his Mesopotamian neighbours to honour their debt contracts. Our areas of focus include
state-investor disputes, sanctions, political risk insurance and sovereign and sub-sovereign debt. We provide
research and analysis to insurers, hedge funds, law firms and lenders as well as for the public sector.
